After a few rounds of shopping and a very full new wardrobe, it’s time to share with you the real deals that I have found for the frugal shopper! My claim to fame as you well know is shopping, getting brand names, never paying full price, all the while earning money back and the Ebates site is perfectly aligned with my frugality diva-ness! With the sponsored shopping I have completed over the last few weeks, I can definitively show you how to reap the benefits of shopping on this great site and earn money back while purchasing, great clothing from great stores. Madame Deals my challenger in this shop-off, knows how to get great brand name clothing and earn money back and we are both revealing our shopping trips to you to see who you think shopped better! We each had $150 to stretch throughout our shopping experiences.
Ebates is all about shopping and earning cash back, are you a frugal shopper? Are you headed out on to a party? Do you need a gift? Are you taking a gift? Are you choosing gifts that you want to give to people? I think I buy more things in the summer, from gifts to kids items than any other time of year and Ebates helps me to save on my purchases by earning cash back while I spend. Just as a reminder, and before I write about my deals: great deals abound and they are not just about buying for yourself you can use this site for gifting, giving gifts, sending gifts, shopping for presents, holidays, birthdays, presents for loved one and so on. Remember each time you purchase you make money back that you can cash out or apply to your next order.
Madame Deals and I are both working our shopping in a way that is most suitable to our needs at present: she got dressed up and I needed basic sporty clothing for an upcoming Pittsburgh Frugal Mom event, let’s take a peek at what I came up with!
My Shopping Trips
I kept this simple, I shopped Old Navy and Coach and I was able to purchase, 1 pair of multi-applicable shoes from Coach(1/2 price), as well as 2 Cardigans, 2 pairs of shorts and a bonus dress and I still came in under $150! I am simply all put together and I got a lot for my money, but the best part? I earned 2% cash back from Old Navy (a few dollars, better in my pocket and not a coupon, so I get cash!) and I earned 3% at the Coach store in addition to buying my shoes at 1/2 price! Frugal buys on name brand, quality brands, I do believe that is shopping Pittsburgh Frugal Style!
Outfit totals : $149.90 — under by .10, but factor in the money I made back which was $3.57, I actually earned while I shopped!
How to save even more:
1) if you had a store card you are often offered additional discounts
2) you can always place an online coupon code into your purchase as long as it is applicable
3) you could purchase the gift cards for the purchases online at a great store like Plastic Jungle or Gift Card Granny where you can purchase discounted gift cards for retail shopping.
