The last few years I have spent really turning around my health and a healthy weight. As many of my loyal readers know I have struggled with hypothyroidism and a gall bladder that went West and then I changed my whole life when I found out because of health issues MEAT was not an option. I went completely Vegan. 50 points different on Cholesterol, 50 pounds off my body, and regular exercise(Wii Dance Competitions against myself) have gotten me back on track, but not THERE. I have now converged myself to a vegetarian/vegan diet, that I have self created and it works very well for me, as it is balanced, contains no meat, provides plenty of veggies and fruit and lets me continue to lose weight, all very important.
January is such a large month of change for everyone, and we are almost at the end of it, so I ask you how have you been doing with your New Year New You Changes? Have you tried out the wonderful ALDI line of items to help enhance the slimming of your waistline that I had previously written about? Have you tried new lotions or creams that I have been discussing or have you read a new book or DVD that you might have wanted to? While the month is gone, you can still keep up on the New Year New You, by possibly indulging yourself in small steps, and I literally mean small steps.
Did you know that if you simply add more steps into you diet regular routine, you will eventually change things up in your body? More and more steps lead to a trimmer more svelte you(if you don’t follow it up with more and more food:) What this translates to is very simple. If you park your car very close to your working facility, change it up, park across the street, down the street and walk to your location. The extra steps will start adding up, and you will see a shift in your waistline. I know, I have tried this, I have added extra steps into my daily routine, each day a few more. It is vital to getting to a healthy weight. Here is a side benefit that I just discussed with my girlfriend.
My gal pal usually parks in a paid lot, it costs her a lot, however, she has found all day meters and she has to walk just a bit further, but she is saving a lot of money! This is a huge bonus. One of my other friends found that simply parking an extra block away saves her $5 A DAY! We figured out with simple math that this is $25 A WEEK AND this translates to a new handbag at the end of the month, I mean after all we are girls on a mission to look great and feel great! You can guess where we spent out Saturday– out handbag shopping.
