My favorite sample each month comes from Tastefully Simple. I love cooking with my new range from Don’s Appliance but the flavors I add to my meals all come compliments of Jennifer Janusek at Tastefully Simple. Jennifer knows my passion for cooking and she finds ways to add MORE to every meal I prepare. 
My recipe this month was found more from need than from ingredient, but each part played into one another.
I had to feed 5 people and no one wanted the same food, what is a busy mom to do? I simply decided to kick in to high gear and treat each person to a Fabulous special meal. Jennifer had just sent me a great sample of Rustic Herb Seasoning and I had been too lazy to put it in the spice cabinet, and this is one time my laziness paid off!
I opened up the fridge, grabbed rice and a piece of salmon and here is how the recipe happened.
I took my orgreenic frying pan, added a garlic clove and a tablespoon of olive oil. I sauteed the garlic clove in the olive oil and I added the Rice as well as the Salmon piece(5oz). I cooked them together and I added Rustic Herb Seasoning. The result was a well-flavored meal that won the praise of my daughter and husband. This is ONE pan easy and truly palatable.
The spice is so versatile and could be added to chicken, turkey, pork, wild game or beef for everyday dinners or holiday entertaining.
The flavors of Rustic Herb are garlic, black pepper, rosemary and a few other spices. I believe this would also be great on roasted potatoes or through mashed potatoes.
