OCTOBER FUN IN PITTSBURGH

If you have kids, love Halloween, or just want to soak up the season here are a great bunch of places to enjoy!

Soergel’s Farm in Wexford has great ice cream, a great play area and a HUGE pumpkin patch with apple cider and fresh popcorn.  If you have never had their kernels to pop, all I can say is grab some while you are there! Make sure to get your train cookie for the kids at the bakery and watch the train go round!  This is always a great day and has been for years! I have been going to Soergel’s since I was sixteen years old.  If you want to go to a different farm, visit Reilly’s Summer Seat Farm or Shenot’s.

Would you like a great Ghost Tour?  Nemacolin Castle in Brownsville, PA.  has 10 or more ghosts in it or so they say.

Looking for a haunted trail?  How about Peterswood Park in Peters Township!

Have  a pet you love to dress up?  Make sure to check out the Howl-o-ween Pet Parade in Schenley Park. Don’t forget about ZooBoo at the Pittsburgh Zoo.

Are you a wann-a-be Ghost Hunter? Do you wan to be scared silly?  How about the Scarehouse in Etna, West Deer Haunted House, Northern Nightmares in Butler.

If you are more about Nature and Halloween, make sure to check out the Creatures othe Night at Beechwood Farms, family NON-SCARY fun!

Pumpkin Festival’s are in Volant, PA., as well as a Great scare waiting for you at Cheeseman’s farm! Zelienople offers a wonderful Fall Festival.

Don’t forget about pumpkin decorating in South Hills Village.
