MY NEW MOTOROLA DROID RAZR PHONE

verizonIt has been a week of learning since Verizon Wireless Savvy Savers dropped off a brand new Motorola Droid Razr at my doorstep.  My kids were excited and pulled it out of the box.  It is an amazing phone, but as a user of an iPhone it is not an easy transition to make.  All summer long I have been learning Droid Tablet and while I have not nearly mastered it, I have learned to LOVE using the tablet, each day in some new way.

I have learned quickly things that I like on the Motorola Droid Razr.  First, when the phone rings, and is searching for me it plays a tune, until it locates me then it rings.  I love that when I get a new message the phone says, “DROID” or when a text comes in it says, “DROID.”   These are things that I do not have on the iPhone but I do have hear dinging noises.

The one big win I have to declare on the DROID… THE HOME button does not exist it is on the screen.  I dislike the HOME button so much on the iPhone because it rarely works.  I can not state enough how many times the HOME button has failed me, whether trying to toggle screen to screen or just trying to ‘awaken’ the screen.  The fact that the DROID is a touch on the screen makes me absolutely LOVE it!.  This is a NO FAIL system.  Hats off to the DROID.

Here’s to a lot more learning on an absolutely great 4g System— Verizon Wireless on a brand new Motorola Droid Razr!
