As PFM I travel around and get to meet a lot of great people, but traveling does not come without a price and my clothing often pays for it, ending up wrinkled and disorganized! I spend time putting my clothing together to make sure everything looks just right but sometimes when I unpack at my destinations the clothing needs attention again and honestly I often don’t have the time! My parents embedded something in my head from early on – You only get ONE chance to make a FIRST impression and with the way the clothing looks coming out of the luggage, my first impressions many leave a LOT to be desired. With those thoughts in mind, I turned to the packing experts at EAGLE CREEK to see if they could help me out!
I am getting ready to travel to Chicago for a Test Kitchen Event with ALDI, traveling to review a Water park in OHIO, and traveling to a Ski Resort in the Canaan Valley and these all require packing. EAGLE CREEK has a great system: Pack It called Pack-It™ System and one of the items I am using to pack is called the Pack-It™ Folder 18.
The concept of the Eagle Creek Pack-It™ Folder 18 is to provide my clothing with wrinkle resistance and it will keep my shirts, sweaters and pants compressed and organized inside of my luggage. This particular piece is 18″ and will hold between 8-12 shirts/pants. The greatest part, it fits into most carry on bags and because a lot of my traveling is simply a one-night to two night deal, this is perfect for plane traveling!
Additionally I have a few more pieces that I am test driving as well in my luggage this round from Eagle Creek, including a two sided cube and half tube cubes. These items all work together in order to keep my bags organized and take up less space than traditional packing.
Both the Pack-It™ Tube Cubes & Pack-It™ 2 Sided Cube are also part of the Eagle Creek’s Pack-It ™ System. The Pack-It™ Tube Cubes are great for socks, underwear, belts, scarves and bathing suit pieces. There is a mesh top on them and it makes everything packed – visible. There is a handle on this piece as well as a 2 way zipper! The Pack-It™ 2 Sided Cube allows me to pack my work-out tees, pj shorts, shorts and cami’s. Dirty laundry is kept on ONE side while the other side allows clean clothing. The mesh keeps it all breathable on one side and the other side is water-resistant. If I take a quick dip in the pool before I jump to my flight, I simply put the wet suit in the water resistant side and Go! No worries, thanks Eagle Creek!
I love these new pieces and they are already making my packing easier. These are great gifts for any traveler in your home, college students, and those that take weekend trips! They are well-priced and are great ideas for the Holidays!
