Over this last weekend, in a hurry to get my daughter ready for a Huge dance, I ran across nail items in a large retail chain that I thought I would give a WHIRL. The color was brilliant, and the design was completely rockin’, so I went ahead and purchased it. I usually don’t write about products like this, but I feel that you should know this product does not work!
KISS NAIL DRESS for Tips and Toes.
The claim went like this: Clean your nails, with alcohol or nail polish remover, I did. File the nails and smooth the, I did. Select a size that will fit your nail, and then apply it from the rear of the nail to the front, smoothing from the center and then fold it down over the edge of the nail and file off excess. I DID all of this.
The ‘nail dress’ was supposed to last up to 10 days! The price was $6.99 for 28 strips. This is hands down one of the WORST products I have EVER used. 2 hours into wearing these, the first one just slid right off my fingernail, and the next day after doing a bunch of errands and then typing up a few things for my blog, one after the other peeling at the edges I noted they were falling OFF!
Kiss Nail product did not work. The edges were all lifting and catching on everything. They were snagging my sweater, and ripping as I dried my hand on a towel, it was awful. Needless to say, there is not ONE KISS NAIL DRESS left on my fingers and it is not even 48 hours later. Hardly did they last, and they do not hold up to their claim of up to 10 days.
I don’t usually write and tell you items like this but I felt that after using a great nail shield like a Jamberry, these should work too! Unfortunately they did not and it was a waste of time and money to use these. I wish they had worked as they were pretty!
This is not a paid review. This is a product used by me and they FAILED to work as they claimed! I was not given these nails to test. I purchased these.
I had the same issue with Kiss. They stink. I will forever be a Jamberry girl
