I’m not sure what is more exciting, this line up of FREE or the challenge of trying to cover it all in one weekend!  There is so much going on you are really going to have to pick and choose what FREE ADMISSION or EVENT you are going to!  Come Clown around, check out the birds, learn some Pittsburgh History or challenge yourself to how many places you can get to for FREE this weekend is what enjoying our great town is about!  Don’t forget to grab your free cups of coffee on National Coffee Day, Saturday September 29, 2012 at many locations we have listed for you! What a weekend for you and your family to enjoy and this is ALL free and it’s all over the ‘burgh’.

 

Talk about getting Charged up for you Job!  “Two Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey®clowns will get FULLY CHARGED for charity.  From 7am to 7pm on Friday, September 28, the two clowns will ride a stationary bike hooked up to a generator to power up a TV, which will reveal a sneak peak of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey®presents FULLY CHARGEDSM.  Children of All Ages are welcome to the Trib Total Media gate at CONSOL Energy Center to cheer on the clowns as they take on the 12-hour bike challenge in hopes of generating up to 1,200 free tickets for the Tickets for Kids organization. Members of the public in attendance for this special event will receive free clown noses and photos with the clowns”

RAD DAYS ARE HERE & THAT MEANS Plenty of Free Admissions on fun activities around Pittsburgh – I think the biggest challenge is figuring out which venue to visit! I love Free and the BURGH delivers!

Friday September 28 from 5:30-9p Free Admission to plenty of locations in the downtown Cultural District – it the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Gallery Crawl.

If you do not get out Friday but want to take the kids or yourself out on Saturday there is plenty of Free to be had again thanks to RAD.  Be sure to check individual websites for updates or time information.

The Frick Art & Historical Center is offering Free Admission 10a-5p and there will be free family activities as well as tours of the Clayton

This is such a great place to bring the kids if you have not, interactive displays and FULL of Pittsburgh Culture and if the interactive displays are not enough there will be live performances all day long from the

Pgh CLO Academy of Musical Theater (12n), Pittsburgh Youth Ballet(1p), S. Hills Chorale(2p) and the Children’s Festival Chorus(3p)
