COOKING IS LIKE LOVE, IT SHOULD BE ENTERED INTO WITH ABANDON, OR NOT AT ALL ~ HARRIET VAN HORN
For as long as I can remember I have loved to prepare and cook food and for a few years I even had my own place where I did nothing but prepare food for customers. I loved my Industrial cooking range and its 10 burners and 4 ovens. I miss those days and I miss my industrial range for multi-tasking and cooking in quantity!
Cooking can be such a pleasurable experience and so rewarding when someone enjoys what you have made! I happen to be fortunate enough to have a large family that I cook for all the time and those little someone’s keep me preparing and cooking all the time! I have been working on an electric coil, basic range for 5 years and one thing I can tell you is that I do not like the electrical coils cooking method and the little drip trays that sit below each one, they are a MAGNET for crud collection. Recently, my food was not cooking evenly, nor was I happy with the baking temperatures as it seemed to cook a little off kilter. My goal was to have a flat, ceramic top range that allowed for uniform, even heating and that is what I have received!
I sought out Don’s Appliances and worked with Tim. We discussed how I use the Convection Radiant Range if I had it. I love to bake, and I cook almost everything, from pies to cookies to TURKEY.
I have been working with this new range for a week now and I can tell you I have fallen in love with it. I am not sure if you have shopped at Don’s Appliancebut I can tell you they have quite a WIDE RANGE of products to choose from not only in price but in style. Did you know DON’S Appliance carries every day names like: Maytag, Whirlpool, Bosch, GE & Kitchen Aid? I did not know this until I started looking around too! What I also find very interesting and very helpful is that each product comes standard with in home training if you so desire because Don’s Appliance wants you to know how to use your product with any features that it offers!
I will be writing more about the Convection Radiant Range, but for now, if your weekend has served you up a broken down appliance, make sure to check out Don’s Appliance in their Pittsburgh Locations.
I was provided product in exchange for my true and honest opinion which is set forth in this blog.
