THE SEASON OF TOMATO ~tartlets

 

It’s TOMATO Season and I am loving it, how about you? Now is the time to buy your tomatoes in bulk.  Jarring, making sauce, slicing, blanching, creating tomato fresco and fresh soups, it’s all NOW!

One of my favorite things to do with tomatoes is to simply cut them fresh, add a splash of sea salt, a piece of cheese and a bit of bread.  This particular recipe has puff pastry and ricotta, it is sinfully delicious!

Get out and support your local farm markets and purchase a bushel or two.  You can get really creative and the price for these wonderful flavors of summer is FRUGAL!
