I love to Shop for Food and I love finding new products and new brands. Products I choose when shopping have to meet some serious criteria such as: taste, workability(actually has to do what it claims) and taste.! I buy store brand when it is possible but only when I know that the products are actually COMPARABLE to their name brand counter parts. You know how you become accustomed to a certain taste and if the substitute product misses that taste you will never buy it again? That is also how I judge my products. Saving money should not mean SACRIFICING TASTE. Shop ‘n Save has begun offering a new brand in their stores today that actually SAVES you money and does not sacrifice quality of taste.
I recently was presented the opportunity to try the new line at SHOP ‘N SAVE called ESSENTIAL EVERYDAY. The ESSENTIAL EVERYDAY line is a STORE BRAND product that offers its BRAND name Competitors a RUN for their money. The ESSENTIAL EVERYDAY products are priced LOWER than the name brand and are quite tasty! Essential Everyday guarantees their product 100% for your satisfaction. This means as a consumer, I can purchase it, and if it is NOT what I expected it is guaranteed! I have a tough crowd to please I have 3 kids with diverse ages and everyone likes something different so I put the food to the test and I came up with POSITIVE FEEDBACK.
As I am writing this to you all I am snacking on Essential Everyday Cheese & Garlic Croutons.
In my home CROUTONS are the a favored product because the kids snack on them and sometimes they go on salads and I LOVE them with a glass of wine. The crunch of a good crouton and the pairing of a great dry red wine make my day HEAVEN. The packaging is identical to every crouton out there, the bag is a zipping bag and YES the ZIP works. The flavor is true and maintains when open and sealed. This is just one of many products that I tried but I can assure you that this CROUTON was as good if not better than other croutons we have consumed in our home. Real Savings and the Highest Quality is what ESSENTIAL EVERYDAY boasts and meets! Thumbs up on Croutons.
This product line is not limited to just croutons, there are MANY products and the savings are HUGE. The Cereal here was a huge hit with my husband who is a Toasted Oat Cereal person. He felt these matched up to the competition perfectly and he enjoyed them at a price that was much more attractive than the leading national brand. They are Honey Nut Toasted Oats and they are crispy, float in the milk and make a delicious bowl of cereal without a WAD Of cash being spent. Frugal Savings that makes sense. Kudos to Shop ‘n Save with Essential Everyday products.
Our normal morning toaster pastries have been subbed out to these CHERRY pastries. The kids give these 2 thumbs up and we have tried a lot of brands. The icing and the filling were good and the price was much LESS than the leading national brand.
My forte is cooking and I purchase OLIVE OIL frequently. I look for a brand that is not expensive but works well and has a great flavor as well as a great color. I used this particular one in a Lemon Salad. I simply tossed a salad created from escarole and romaine, tossed some sea salt, fresh squeezed lemon and then the OLIVE OIL by Essential Everyday. I was very pleased with the taste. This particular salad is one of my trademark meals. The salad is very tough to dress and a proper olive oil will make it taste very good! THUMBS up and the price, really nice:)
The Graham Crackers, Shark(fruit chews) and Noodles all were really delicious as well. There was nothing that we tried that I have not or would not purchase again. The pasta boiled comparable to a San Giorgio, not too much starch and the price made it a great buy. We used the graham crackers to make smores and no one knew that they were not a National Brand.
